Nags Head Elementary’s Great Pumpkin Fair
When: October 5 from 10 am - 3 pm
Where: Nags Head Elementary School
OBX parents know that the Pumpkin Fair is a must to kick-off the fall season. Shop for the perfect pumpkin and fall decor, pick up some special treats, let your kids spend the day playing and enjoying a variety of crafts, games and festivities at Nags Head Elementary this Saturday, October 5. Get in the fall spirit and help support local school programs at this exciting fundraising event.
Parade of Homes
When: October 10 - 13 - Thursday - Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm / Sunday: 10 am - 3 pm
Where: From Corolla to Nags Head, NC
See the beauty, talent and craftsmanship of local Outer Banks builders at the 27th annual Parade of Homes. This 4 day event allows the public to tour some of the Outer Banks most impressive properties, from year-round residences to oceanfront mansions. The detail, design and location are sure to impress. If you’re interested in building on the Outer Banks, this is a great opportunity to meet some of the best builders on the beach and see their work in person. Duck Jazz Festival
When: October 12 from 4 pm - 6 pm | October 13 from 10 am - 4 pm
Where: Duck Town Park
If you love live music, this is the event for you! Enjoy listening to some of America's best jazz musicians at the charming town park in downtown Duck. This year’s lineup includes 7 jazz ensembles that all ages will enjoy. Family and dog friendly, this free event is the perfect way to spend your weekend. Between acts, visit the downtown shops and waterfront boardwalk for early holiday shopping and sightseeing.
The Outer Banks Seafood Festival
When: October 19th from 10:30 am - 6 pm
Where: Nags Head Soundside Event Site
It doesn’t take long to discover that the fishing and seafood industries are deeply rooted in the Outer Banks culture. If the thought of fresh fish tacos and savory shrimp and grits makes your mouth water, then the Outer Banks Seafood Festival is right up your alley. Come out to the Soundside Event Site for a weekend of amazing coastal cuisine, live music and talented vendors as we celebrate our Outer Banks seafood heritage.
